Vaulty Manor Wedding of Michelle and Dan

The Gate to Vaulty Manor

It’s always a little strange documenting and photographing a family wedding but Michelle and Dan asked be to take the long drive to Clacton to photograph their wedding in my usual reportage style.
It proved to be a very important family event as it meant my mum could see her family for the first time in a number of years due to her father’s decline due to dementia.

I arrived at 12.00 to capture Michelle’s bridal preparations in the Bridal suite along with her 4 bridesmaids being helped by a team of four makeup artists and hairdressers. She slipped into her beautiful Intuzuri Costura bridal dress and was escorted by her father Arthur to her waiting husband to be.

Toastmaster Ted Prior announced the commencing of the 2pm ceremony all held at the beautiful Vaulty Manor with sixty of their close friends and family.

Champagne, canapés and a huge range of yummy sweets were served during the drinks reception followed by a three course A la Carte meal after which they ‘cut’ their Krispy Kreme wedding cake.

They then danced the night away to sounds mixed by DJ Paul Chaplin from the wedding party events company and had great fun in the Cinnamon Photobooth.
