Wedding photography at Blenheim Palace, the ultimate luxurious wedding venue
As an experienced Oxfordshire wedding photographer I may be biased, but I will go out on a limb and say that Blenheim Palace is arguably one of the most awe inspiring wedding venues in England. This majestic palace built in 1700 sits in the village of Woodstock in rural Oxfordshire. The very first time you glimpse it is an amazing moment because it literally takes your breath away. So if you’re looking for an Oxfordshire wedding venue that totally wows your guests then it has to be Blenheim Palace.
As a Blenheim Palace wedding Photographer, I work closely with their dedicated wedding and events team to provide my couples with an outstanding service and a bespoke wedding photography package that ensures they you will get a beautiful set of wedding photographs that tell the story of their day. Timeless high quality photographs that they can look back on year after year to relive their wedding day.
Historically rich and architecturally beautiful, Blenheim is the birthplace of the late Sir Winston Churchill and a World Heritage Site. Since 1700 Blenheim has been host to both royal banquets and gatherings of historic leaders and today it’s a luxury global wedding venue. So I’m guessing it’s not too shabby to host your wedding day too!
An absolute favourite with Oxfordshire wedding photographers, as its 18th Century baroque architecture, magnificent interiors and over 2000 acres of picturesque landscaped parkland and award-winning Formal Gardens, give us 360 degrees of stunning backdrops for your wedding photographs.
Blenheim Palace offer great flexibility and a range of options when it comes to weddings. They have six different venue spaces that cater for weddings from intimate celebrations to grand and lavish affairs. From 12 guests to 2000 guests, and everything in between. Licensed to hold civil ceremonies their Orangery and Marlborough rooms make impressive ceremony locations and their Great Hall and Long Library are fantastic places for dining and drinks and can accommodate up to 250 guests. With each room being suited for different elements of the day, these can be used separately or together as one big wedding package.
For larger wedding celebrations Blenheim Palace offer a range of marquees that can be erected in different areas within their 2000 acre estate making Blenheim Palace perfect for larger and Asian weddings.
One of the many reasons why I love shooting wedding photography at Blenheim Palace is its spectacular 18th century baroque architecture which always provides me with an awe inspiring backdrop in my images. And as it is situated amongst over 2000 acres of mature landscaped gardens I am given endless options when taking romantic portrait images of my couples as well as group, formal and candid images of their guests.
