Essex Wedding Photography

Mark Seymour

The only way is Essex, or so we have become familiar with Essex via the popular television programme. I have been the Essex wedding photographer at several wedding venues with couples that live nearby in London and Hertfordshire that have chosen Essex for their wedding. Essex has venues that cater for intimate small weddings, boho-chic barn weddings, trendy bar/restaurants, through to luxury estate weddings – the choice is yours and I would love to tell the story of your day with beautiful documentary wedding photography as your Essex wedding photographer.

Gaynes Park is a stylish contemporary venue for your wedding surrounded by woodland and farmland of the British countryside, and easily accessible to London. Have a quintessential English wedding outside and enjoy canapes and bubbly in the garden before you and your guests enjoy dinner in the beautiful barn. Alternatively Cronon Park Golf and Country Club offers an exclusive hire wedding venue in the Baronial suite with private bar and secluded gardens.

Braxted Park is a beautiful Georgian manor house, set in acres of glorious grounds, that was the country retreat of Queen Anne, complete with a long sweeping drive and its own romantic honeymoon cottage.

For a really luxurious elegant wedding you may want to contact Boreham House, in Chelmsford, this is a Grade l listed mansion entered via a stately avenue of trees, the events team are on hand to ensure everything is possible, for your dream wedding.

If you are still looking for the perfect location why not look at some of my wedding blogs of different Essex wedding venues to give you inspiration, and let me be your Essex wedding photographer. With your venue booked and you have decided on having beautiful, timeless documentary wedding photography, then I’d love to talk with you, so contact me here.

Take a look at some weddings from my favourite wedding venues.

“Photography is not just my job, it’s my passion; I am so humbled every time a couple choose me as their wedding photographer, and each and every wedding day is as unique and special as the couple.”

Making Memories

I’ve been a professional photographer for twenty years and in that time not only have I established a very successful wedding photography business, I’ve carved out my own distinctive style of photographing and editing. My photographic style is embedded in the genre of documentary photojournalism, also described as reportage, candid and photoessay. My documentary images are focused on the observation of people, events and emotions which is why I refer to my work as ‘observational documentary wedding photography’.
