Bride and Groom at Hampden House

Hampden House Wedding Photography – Hannah and Lee’s wedding.

I loved capturing Hannah and Lee’s wedding photography at Hampden House. This pair finally got to say their wedding vows after having to postpone their wedding at Hampden House on three previous occasions because of Covid-19 restrictions. So, two years after Hannah’s initial enquiry about wedding photography, I finally got to photograph their beautiful Hampden House wedding.

HAMPDEN HOUSE IS THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE

Hannah and Lee chose Hampden House in the heart of the Chiltern Hills for their intimate wedding. On the day I got there early so I could capture some images of this beautiful venue all dressed and ready for Hannah and Lee’s day.

Before the ceremony Hannah and her mum met me in Hampden House’s Great Hall so I could capture some elegant bridal images. The Great Hall at Hampden House is a beautiful room with original wood panelling and an ornate carved fireplace that made the perfect backdrop in my images of Hannah. Here take a look!

Hannah and her mum then joined Lee and the wedding guests in Hill House, a charmingly restored barn with a fairy-tale setting that was the perfect space for their intimate wedding ceremony.

Hill House is an elegant space that is flooded with natural light (Us Buckinghamshire wedding photographers just love light rooms as we can play with the light to create even more beautiful images) I remained unobtrusive but managed to capture Hannah and Lee’s wedding cermeony from different angles to tell the story of their wedding naturally as it unfolded. Hannah and Lee took their wedding vows in front of just twelve intimate guests that included all of their closest family members.

HAMPDEN HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

After the wedding ceremony Lee and Hannah took the short walk down the aisle and into the beautiful gardens outside Grade 1 listed Hampden House. Where everybody enjoyed champagne and canapes on the lawn. I took the chance to capture some lovely candid images of guests as they happily mingled and soaked up their beautiful surroundings. I also quickly took some group images too. The image of the entire wedding party on the benches was one of my favourites of the day.

Whilst guests enjoyed the drinks and canapes reception, I quickly whisked Hannah and Lee away for a mini photoshoot around the stunning gardens and grounds of Hampden House and got some really romantic images.

The wedding breakfast was held in the Hampden House’s Great Hall with guests all seated at one long table. This stately and elegant room looked amazing and the table was dressed beautifully. Before taking my leave, I took one last image of Hannah and Lee embraced next to that ornate fireplace. Looking into one another’s eyes it was the perfect image to close the story of their beautiful Hampden House wedding day.

A gorgeous and intimate wedding at a stunning Buckinghamshire wedding venue. Congratulations to Hannah and Lee for getting married and creating such a memorable day to remember. I hope my images will enable you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
