Le Manoir Wedding Photography – Laura and Phil’s wedding

A beautiful wedding at Le Manoir with Laura and Phil

Ask any Oxfordshire wedding photographer and they’ll tell you that shooting wedding photography at Le Manoir is a dream booking. Laura and Phil chose the perfect venue for their elegant wedding. On the day, I arrived early so I could capture some bridal prep images of Laura who was getting ready in one of Le Manior beautiful rooms. Laura was in safe hand with her bridal party and Clare Hanson who is Le Manior’s recommended hair stylist and make up artist.

I also captured a few images of Phil who was getting ready in another room with his best man and son, all of whom looked very smart!

Laura looked stunning in an elegant dress with lace detailing and a-line skirt giving her a fairy tale look that really suited the splendour of Le Manoir. She was walked down the aisle by her proud father.

The wedding ceremony took place in Le Manoir’s ‘La Belle Epoque’ conservatory. This contemporary space is flooded with tons of natural light (us Oxfordshire wedding photographers are total geeks when it comes to talking about light!) and opens out onto an enchanting walled garden. A truly romantic location for a wedding ceremony. After the signing of the register Laura, Phil and their guests enjoyed an elegant champagne and canapes reception.

Whilst guests happily chatted and mingled, I quickly whisked Laura and Phil away for a mini portrait session of them around the stunning gardens and grounds of La Manoir and I got some really romantic images.

The wedding breakfast was hosted in Le Manoir’s dining room, that has lots of period features like wood panelled walls and chandeliers. One of things I love best about returning to shoot wedding photography at Le Manoir, is that regardless of the weather, time of day or year, or whether I’m outside or in, I’m always spoilt for choice when it comes to having beautiful backdrops in all of my images.

La Manoir’s restaurant boasts two Michelin stars, so it was no surprise that the bespoke two course menu, that was created by head chef Gary Jones in consultation with Laura and Phil, went down an absolute storm with everybody. After the wedding breakfast there were some very well received speeches.

Evening celebrations started with a romantic first dance for Laura and Phil, and the image of Laura and Phil on the dancefloor, with their loved ones looking on, seemed the perfect image to close the story of their wedding day.

A gorgeous intimate family friendly wedding at a truly awesome wedding venue. Congratulations to Laura and Phil for getting married and thank you for having me there to tell the story of it.
