Best Pre Wedding Photoshoots
Your pre wedding photoshoot is your chance to capture all the love, excitement, and anticipation of your upcoming wedding day. As one of the most important milestones in your journey as a couple, it’s important that your photoshoot is not only beautiful, but also reflects your unique personalities and preferences. To help you make the most of your pre wedding photoshoot, we’ve put together some tips and ideas that will ensure you enjoy your pre wedding photoshoots.
A Pre Shoot Location That’s Special To You Both
Pre wedding shoot ideas, for example, if you both enjoy cycling, why not include your bikes in the photoshoot? The possibilities are endless when it comes to themes, so choose one that really speaks to you and your partner.
Pre Wedding Photography Abroad
Pre Wedding Photoshoots can take place anywhere in the world and couples often ask me travel to photograph them to maybe where you had your first date or somewhere you love going for walks or where your proposal took place. The choice is totally yours!
Paris is one of my favourite destinations for pre wedding photoshoots with so many great backdrops including The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre ,The banks of River Sein or the Tuileries Gardens.
For most pre wedding photoshoots couples ask us to photograph them both at sunrise and sunset as they have travelled specifically to a special pre wedding shoot place that is special to them so really want to take advantage of their chosen location. This means you can just chill out together in the day!
When’s The Best Time For Your Pre Wedding Photoshoot
It’s definitely worth spending time planning when is both the best time of year and time of day to take beautiful pre wedding photoshoots. Generally, Spring and Autumn are the best times of the year for colours with either early morning or towards sunset the best for natural light. Early morning at sunrise the light can be amazing with the added benefit of most places being extremely quiet which means you can really go anywhere you want with very few local people around.
Sunset is extremely romantic and again the light is beautiful for your pre wedding photoshoot as the light transitions from the golden hour to the blue hour.
Planning Your Pre Wedding Pictures
You can either go with your wedding photographers suggested pre wedding photoshoot locations or ask if it can take place somewhere special to you both. Maybe where you had your first date or somewhere you love going for walks or where your proposal took place. The choice is yours!
What To Wear On Your Pre Wedding Photo shoot
Other things to consider is choice of clothing… make sure your wearing some thing that your comfortable in and says a bit about you. It can be either formal or just totally relaxed but try and not have clothes that clash in colour but are complimentary to each other.
Make Up & Hair On Your Pre Wedding Shoots
Its definitely worth considering getting your hair and make up done for the pre wedding photoshoot. If you really want to look your best why not ask us to book you a makeup artist or why not use your chosen wedding day makeup artist as a trial?
Let Your Love Shine
Ultimately, the most important thing is to let your love shine through in your photos. Don’t be afraid to be affectionate and show your emotions – after all, this shoot is all about celebrating the love between you and your partner. Relax, enjoy each other’s company, and have fun with your photographer and the process!
Pre wedding photos are an amazing opportunity to capture the love shared between the two of you in an artistic and fun way. Whether it’s incorporating a theme, matching outfits or finding the perfect photographer for your wedding day. There are many ways to make the photshoot a great experience, but remember to have fun and be yourselves and your photos will be cherished for a lifetime, so take the time to plan accordingly and make it a moment you and your partner will always remember.
