Group Shots

Obviously it is your day, and I will do my best to get all the photos you want, but keep in mind that even with the best ushering in the world it can still take 4-5 minutes to find and arrange a group of people for a photo – so try keep the numbers of shots small – 5 or 6 is ideal.

I’d really appreciate a group shot list for the day. Here are a few things to remember:

• Allow 5 mins per group shot (I’ll try to go quicker but depends on your organisation).
• For that reason, I recommend about six ‘groups’ as that’s half an hour (but please don’t feel limited it’s your day list as many as you want but bear in mind the more you do the more you will be standing about.
• Try and do only the really important ones and for the rest allow time for in formals at the reception – you could always do a ‘table walk’ for the smaller friends groups.

• Think about whether for your Groomsmen & Bridesmaid if you want that formal shot together as since they’re you’re mates you can always do some fun and quirky ones outside as well as or instead of.

Here’s how’d I do mine:

Obviously, yours might be different and you might want to include more especially where Parents are remarried etc.
