Taplow House Hotel is a beautifully maintained country house perfect for weddings in Buckinghamshire, and has quite a history. The House dates back to 1660, but the original building was burnt to the ground before being rebuilt, however the cellars still bear scorch marks from that fire! Taplow House has had its share of historic visitors too, including Queen Elizabeth I and Oscar Wilde.

The current House has been lovingly restored by the present owner, and the grounds are famous for their Tulip Trees and landscape gardens. As you would expect from looking at the exterior, there are grand rooms with elaborate fireplaces taking centre stage, and large windows to allow plenty of natural light, perfect for your documentary wedding photographs.

But there is a wonderful secret, hidden away beneath the ground floor, is a contemporary designed bar with a sunken dance floor!

There is a team of wedding specialists and event coordinators to help you plan every detail of your wedding.
