Bride and Groom under the Chuppah

Wedding photography at The Brewery London – Kate and Aaron’s wedding

The Brewery London

I first met Kate and Aaron when I did their engagement photography at Cliveden House gardens. So it was fantastic to see them again to capture their Jewish wedding and make the couple happy with some great Brewery wedding photos in London. This stunning venue in the heart of the city was the perfect wedding venue for Kate and Aaron as it really suited their style and personalities.

On the day, I met up with Kate and her bridal party at the chic Montcalm Hotel in the city. So I could capture some bridal prep images. The girls were in good spirits and I got some great images. Kate looked stunning in a breathtakingly beautiful long silhouette Atelier Pronovias wedding gown, with a backless design with a long train and veil. With her elegantly braided hair with cascading curls and perfect makeup Kate looked like she just stepped out of a photo shoot for a bridal magazine. Kate’s six bridesmaids wore elegant charcoal grey satin dresses.

We didn’t forget Aaron and his groomsmen, they all looked resplendent in black tie. The boys had had my second photographer recording their preparations, and as part of the story of their day as we both documented the Tisch and Bedeken wedding ceremonies.

The Brewery in London is one of the best venues for Jewish weddings in London because it has one of the largest unobstructed events spaces in the city. Katy Kresner, the Brewery’s wedding coordinator, did a fantastic job of planning the wedding and their own toast-master ensured everything ran on time so Katy, Aaron, and their guests could relax knowing they were in safe and capable hands.

An impressive wooden Chuppah has been erected and decorated with white and blush roses and greenery to compliment the bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole. Kate’s dad proudly walked her up the aisle

As with most of my Jewish wedding couples a time is set for some traditional formal family wedding group shots of the families with the bride and groom, we used a couple of chairs to create different head heights and add interest. Kate and Aaron also wanted some more edgy images, so Kate put on her white leather biker bridal jacket and we took some fabulous magazine-style group shots that would easily grace a double spread in Vanity Fair. These guys were so fun to work with and I know that Kate and Aaron are thrilled with the images.

One of the many things I love about shooting wedding photography at The Brewery in London is that it is such a unique wedding venue that it offers me so many fantastic backdrops in my images. I photographed Kate and Aaron in front of the murals, the painted window arches, and in the cobbled courtyard at this historically rich venue.

Storytelling wedding photography at The Brewery wedding venue in London

Kate and Aaron’s wedding reception was epic. Everybody danced the night away to an awesome twenty-piece band; Club Live Showband and DJ, with of course all the traditional Jewish dancing making fabulous evening shots. Only the bravest London wedding photographers will brave it onto the dancefloor at a Jewish wedding. But it was worth it as I got some amazing images.

Good wedding photography captures the moments and emotions of wedding days in a documentary storytelling style. So I was thrilled to capture many emotional and candid images at Kate and Aaron’s wedding that really told the story of their amazing wedding day. I also got some images of glamorous social media and Apprentice star Claudine Collins (it was no surprise to me to learn that a couple as fun and glamorous as Kate and Aaron moved in celebrity circles!)

An amazing wedding for an amazing couple. Mazel Tov Kate and Aaron and thank you for allowing me to tell the story of your epic wedding day. I hope my images will enable you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
