Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ 1

Where are you based?

I live in Burnham Village and have most of my life. You may not have heard of the village but it’s very Windsor in Berkshire. Although Im a Berkshire Wedding Photographer I shoot weddings all over the country and am often abroad also with my camera. It’s always worth asking where I am around at the time you’re going to have your wedding.

How much does it cost to travel to our wedding

A lot less than you would expect. Generally, anything within an hour or so is included. When it’s a little further in the UK all I ask is for you to cover the fuel in my car, don’t worry it’s a Honda so it’s good on fuel! If you are getting married abroad and would like me to be your wedding photographer just ask and Ill be happy to get you some prices.

How do we book you?

It’s easy! Just fire me over an e.mail to see if your wedding day is available and if you’re happy with my prices I’ll send you over my bank details so you can make a deposit. I’ll send you a contract so it’s all in writing exactly what you’ll be getting from me for your wedding photography. If you’d like to chat I’m really happy to catch up if you are local for a coffee or if a little further we can always Skype or Zoom.

Can we meet you before the day?

Absolutely! I’d love to meet all my couples prior to the big day. We can either meet for a coffee if you are local to Windsor or if you are a little further we can set up a convenient skype or Zoom call to talk through the wedding day.

How quickly will I get my wedding photographs?

I try and deliver all your wedding photographs to a secure password-protected cloud site dedicated to just your wedding within 6 weeks of the big day. If you’ve also ordered a wedding album this will be with you about 8 weeks after the final design and approval.

What do we actually receive?

You will get a copy of all the images that I have carefully selected, personally edited, and hand-finished. The number of images you receive depends on the size of the wedding, the number of photographers, and the time we are with you.

You will receive 2 sets of identical images one of which are large images for you to make any prints you would like and the other is resized specifically for social media use. If you have also ordered wedding albums these will be either couriered to you or they can be collected in person if you are more local.

All your weddings look like they are in beautiful locations.

Most of the weddings I photograph come from word of mouth but I still put in over 100% into every wedding that Im booked to photograph whether it be a grand stately home or a simple village hall. Personally, I have never believed a wedding is about the location but more about the people and friends that are with you making memories.

So if you have a humble garden wedding with just a few of your besties or are going full steam ahead with a grand stately home Id love to photograph your wedding whatever the size.

Do you photograph LBGTQ weddings and celebrations?

Of course, I do, take a look at my Blog post and you’ll see many same-sex weddings. I’ve always found them to be great fun.

We don’t like posing too much, we prefer more candid photographs where you catch us naturally

I feel the same as you, I much prefer documenting naturally your wedding day. Most couples won’t even notice I’m there most of the day. When it comes to any groups or lovely shots of the two of you together I can give a little direction so you feel comfortable together in front of the camera.

How far will you travel for our wedding?

I’ll travel virtually anywhere you’d like me too if you want me as your wedding photographer. To date, the furthest I traveled is New York USA!

Were very private and don’t use social media. Can my wedding photographs remain private?

Of course, I’m happy to guarantee that I won’t use any of your pictures on my website and the only people who would have access to your pictures are those that you choose to share your password-protected gallery.

When do I have to pay the balance?

The outstanding amount due is payable 6 weeks prior to your wedding day.

Can we have a second photographer?

Most weddings I photograph by myself however if you would like greater coverage and multiple locations sometimes it’s wise to have a second photographer. If I decide to have an assistant I will always let you know prior to your wedding day.

What if you are sick or decide to cancel?

Never, ever, I’ve been photographing weddings for over 2o years and have never let anyone down to date. I do of course have a backup plan in place should something terrible happen.

Are you insured?

Yes! I have both Public liability insurance and Professional indemnity insurance.

Can I order a wedding album after the day?

Yes, you can. Whilst most couples pre-order their wedding album to take advantage of the discounts I offer an album can be ordered at anytime

Any other questions?

If there is anything else you’d like to ask me just pick up the phone or send me a quick e.mail and I’ll get right back to you
