Camilla & Jonathan at Bury Court Barn

Bury Court Barn is one of those amazing places to get married if your looking for a cool Barn Wedding. Nestled in the Hampshire countryside it was originally created on the site of an old walled farmyard.

The Courtyard at Bury Court is beautifully natural with lots of natural grasses and unusual plants making a great backdrop for your candid documentary Bury Court Wedding Photography.

Bury Court Barn was taken over exclusively by Jonathan and Camilla with a street food banquet served up to their wedding friends and family their wedding was a joy to photograph and capture all those moments that occur when you’re making memories on your wedding day with your friends and family. At the end of the evening, the newly wed’s spent the night in the Honeymoon suite along with close friends and family in the other 14 rooms at Bury Court.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Camilla and Jonathan’s wedding, a simply elegant English country affair at Bury Court Barn

Camilla and Jonathan started dating after they met three years ago online. For a special evening out, Jonathan took Camilla to the restaurant at The Aviator, and whilst they sipped cocktails in the sky bar, he proposed, presenting Camilla with a stunning diamond solitaire engagement ring. Fourteen months later, with every detail planned to perfection, Camilla is sitting in front of me sipping pink champagne whilst she has her makeup applied by Elisa

The food for the guests was supplied by Jacaranda Catering and it was incredible. The guests enjoyed gorgeous canapes and champagne in the courtyard perfect for catching those intimate conversations and interactions naturally.

Inside Bury Court Barn looked simply stunning, the tables had tall floral displays and the tables were beautifully dressed in white linen.

I always love photographing the unique touches at a wedding, Camilla and Jonathan had a wonderful idea for their guest book, they provided a Polaroid camera so guests could take photos of each other and then stick them in the guest book alongside their personal messages. With the English spring weather in mind, a basket of pastel pink and cream shawls was set on a small table “To have and to hold, in case you get cold”.
