The grounds are perfect for a large country marquee wedding, or you may prefer a more intimate civil ceremony surrounded by flowers in the reception hall of the house itself. The Grand staircase, adorned with Hedsor’s royal portraits, is one of my favorite locations for a candid informal photograph of the bride just before she gets married, a bride feels really special as she poses here for some stunning bridal portraits before greeting her guests below and taking her position alongside her husband-to-be.
With guests staying in the 11 grand bedrooms and the couple having the beautiful bridal suite, this is the perfect country house wedding venue, which will be exclusively yours for 24 hours.
In addition, many couples marry in the beautiful local church, St Nicholas, in Taplow, with a history dating back to 1911, and then take a drive down the long, tree-lined driveway to the House for their luxury wedding reception. The beautiful sunken gardens are perfect for a champagne stroll and some more intimate bride and groom photographs.
